Since it’s dining out members will be paying for their meal. Planning for restaurants where a meal and shared appetizers will be in the $20 each range.

Hi everyone, my name is Aaron and I’ll be leading a Sunday $20 dollar dine out groups. The $20 range should include entree, shared appetizers and a drink. I’m a recent graduate from UBC, I love food and I’m looking to try some new food with some cool, cool, foodies. Vancouver has a lot of great Japanese/Indian/Greek restaurants and we’ve all tried them, so how about something different too. I’ll be looking to try some different styles that often get overlooked like Ethiopian, German, BBQ, as well as restaurants that serve different dishes like kangaroo or alligator (I know where). I’m planning for this to be an active group with meetings every 2 weeks.  While I have an idea of the kinds of places I’d like the group to go to, I am still researching particular restaurants so there is plenty of room for group input. Group diners will be on Sundays, although specials may result in a change. There are two choices: Meat!: First meeting at Memphis Blues – massive portions of delicious meat. Future meetings for kangaroo and alligator plus a 4^th I am still researching and welcome suggestions. World: First meeting at Alpine Club – hearty winter German food. Future meetings for Ethiopian, Hakka and Caribbean food, exact restaurants still to be determined.
