Hey guys, my name is Joe. I’m currently in 3rd year studying General Sciences. I started cooking with my mum ever since I was 4, but never really got into it until grade 11. I’ve been working at Earls (Robson Street) close to a year now and I absolutely love it! Recently I made the decision to not go into medicine and go to culinary school after graduation, so hopefully that works out well *fingers crossed*.
My plan for this mini club is to just cook cook cook! I will incorporate basic skills, like kitchen safety tips and knife techniques, into the cooking so that we don’t waste any time. For our first event I’m planning on making a very simple dish that tastes great and takes very little time to cook – chicken parmesan. Here you guys will learn how to butterfly your own chicken breast, and learn how to perfectly cook a chicken without having to worry about it being raw or overcooked.
My planning on the events are VERY flexible, so if you guys have ANY questions, recipes, or ideas on what you specifically want to learn, just shoot me an email at joe-suh@hotmail.com.
Please let me know of any allergies!
